To the Boy I've Met

To the Boy I’ve Met

To all the places I’ve been;

From all the monstrous mountains of Arizona

To the lavish forests of Georgia, the details

of each place stay in my head.

To all the choices I’ve made,

Whether it’s standing up to

What’s pushing me down or

Making a mistake before thinking it

Through, they all warm my sheets.

To all the people I’ve met,

from little girls to shutting me

Out or to that one boy

Who’s able to knock my world

With a single flick but

I guess there is just one.

One that stands out than all

the rest.

To the boy whose eyes are as

Clear as the open sky and his thoughts

are more eccentric than the rest.

This is to the

Boy I’ve met
