The Boy With the Spiderman Shoes

Spiderman was a hero

And you were mine

You taught me to love

You taught me to shine

You helped me to see the world in new hues

Rather than just in black, whites, and blues

You helped me see kindness in the meanest of faces

You allowed me to watch you grow through new fazes

Despite all the change

Despite all your fears

You taught me most of all to smile through the tears

You loved me for me

Without knowing a thing

And everytime I see you

You make my soul sing

I'll never forget you and you'll always remain

In the little corner reserved for lifechangers in my brain
