The Boy with a Voice

There once was a boy with a beautiful voice Yet he hid so many secrets He'd laugh and sing with those around him While silencing a part of him To everyone he only created melodious words To everyone except her The world heard the songs, only the songs The whispered words lost He hid his secrets behind the sounds But his feelings had bound Him to a sadness and anger inside himself Of which no one knew Until she sat with him and whispered too They spoke of love Of hate, of sadness. They shared their hearts Without the music There once was a boy with a beautiful voice And a girl who sang along.
