Boys and Girls

It was the beginning of springer.

The flowers were blooming and so were the kids.

Boys and girls begin to flirt, girls carried coodies but the boys didn't care.

The boys liked the girls who painted their face like their moms.

From then we began to grown, we were no longer kids.

It was the beginng of fifth grade, new faces, new memories to be made.

My long time crush was in my class and i was happy as can be.

But sadly, he did not have the same eyes as me.

He liked the girl who blosssomed extra early.

I did everything to get his attention, but all she had to do was blink a eye,

and he was all over her.

I learnd if i wanted the boy, I needed to grow.

So learned to be less childish, I even tried to put makeup.

But nothin worked cause I still was a kid in his eye.
