Braced
After a while
it was
no longer bondage
no longer prison
no longer will or choice.
They were only an accessory,
only a temporal
aid
to
define, descibe, correct,and contort
what was counter productive and
itching to achieve
prosperity.
Itching to conform to a standard.
They confirm that I am younger and
too young to peer through tinted lenses into adulthood
when
at the time
it was far from my grasp.
What is life without cement?
I do not know.
I cannot recall.
What is life without Cement?
I am not certain
and
I do not need to be.
