A Brain and Clock in Sync

tick tick tick

Time is always running out.

tick tick tick

What can I do about it?

The tock tock tock

Makes my brain tick tick.

The tick tick tick

Is the reason why I live.

We are a human body

Governed by the clock

That lays down its laws of fate

With each looming tock.

With each looming tick

There is much to do.

Rushing, running, hoping

That the second hand won’t move.

But it always does.

But it always will.

tick tock tick

Our brains aren’t standing still.
