Brain Cancer

Coming from the division of abnormal cells

Some say I’m from the pits of hell

In the brain is where I lay

Creating struggles each and everyday

Making her forget what she wants to say

For no reason she will have to pay

Will she live or will she die?

Making all of her family and friends cry

I  smile as the children scream “Oh God why?”

The doctors say one thing and I’ll do the other

I give no hint of when this will be over

I feed on stress and I slowly grow

I make things fast when she needs them slow

When will I stop?

When will I go?

Only the passing of time will let them know

I care not for those who weep

For they haven’t  seen me when I’m at my peak

I slowly rise like the sunset

Like time I don’t care if they’re ready yet.
