Brain Storm - Why I write

A writer thinks differently.

Sometimes we think so loud,

our brains are like thunderous, dark, and heavy clouds.

Sometimes we think so quiet,

we think of silence.

A writer must always think,

and a writer thinks best

with paper, pen, and ink.

I write to calm the storm

I write to find clarity and rest.
