The Brain Surgeon

My answer never changes, I shall not- and will not- fail

Everytime im asked, "Just what would you like to do?"

It is what i must do, "To be a Brain surgeon is my muse!"

They look at me with so much disbelief!

The look on their face gives me much grief,

i know they are wrong, about me to succeed,

i'm not that smart, not that certain breed

I assure them I have what it takes,

i have determination, i know the stakes!

Sure my obstacles are great in number,

my mind will be pushed, i must miss my normal slumber,

I will have next to no money, no time to hang out

even without them, I am filled with extreme doubt.

I ask myself constantly, can I really do this?

Or is my drive not enough, will I even be missed?

Maybe their right, I am just a normal simplistic

Does this mean I should just quit, be another statistic?

People have no faith in me, should I just listen?

To others this is what it seems, but i tend to look at it in reverse

 (read backwards)
