Brainscape of concepts

time eaten up lingering in the big urban melting cauldron

time decelerated almost to a halt
slowly grinding to bestow
a sense of immortality

no conjuring the ending of alertness
no avoiding the distance from plague to curse

(when arrived in New York, pigeon droppings
were thought to cause lethality,
to make the constitution weak and miasmatic)

the landscape of notions is circling

around the spirals of universal view-scapes

and minds tethered to decaying bodies

connecting ideas through ether and urban networks

in real-time, in slivers of self-awareness,

as free-wheeling agents move about

in kinetic thrust and soberness, almost

a type of smooth haughtiness

the urban wilderness provided a fertile ground

in endless tunnels of the subterranean I waded
forming concepts and weak hypotheses

among the forests and lakes now theorizing seems

a validation of finite journeys, a seal of mortality

[end]
