The fire from the madness seeps into my body; it burns from head to toe. It manages to get within my blood. Having it run through my veins make me want to peel off my skin. I try to fight it, but every time I move it hurts. I can't take it; I start to scream. I begin to peel off the rest of my skin. I gradually get up from the ground and walks towards my mirror. I don't even recognize myself. I look on the floor behind me, analyzing my old self. I think to myself 'this might be a new beginning, a second chance for me'. I open my front door, having the sun shine on me, but I have people judge, point, and laugh at me. A part of me wants to run back inside and hide, while the other says 'go out there and don't let anything or anyone keep you down'. I rush up the courage to go out and walk among the rest of humanity. I know that baby steps are needed, but I have hope that everything will be just fine, no matter what happens.
