Bratz

Bratz dolls were my idol

Their tight mini skirts and crop tops were my obsession

As a ten year old I overexaggerated my future teen years

bright pink ferrari, partiea on the weekend, and an extensive group of friends

I had a conditioned list of events that had to occur before the age of 16

If this list were to be accomplished in the correct order it would imitate the way I should grow up

From buying my first bra from victorias secret at 12 to my first car at 16

I fed into the bratz lifestyle, fruitless lists that define my growth

This naive thought process eventually led me to the realization

struck like lightening, sending vibrations to my cerebral cortex

The world doesn't work to my advantage, and neither do my parents

Atage 16 I received my temps a month before my birthday

As I grew I knew that what defines me is not what makes up a typical teen

But I was not placed in the friction of this universe to blend

The definition of the matters that makeup myself do not exist

I am not defined by human words, but human emotion

Emotion conveys ideas and memories

When I am no more all that will be left of me is a memory
