Brave
Sorry Not Sorry
I'm sorry I'm not like other girls.
I don't have clothes like they do.
I don't have sneakers like they do.
I don't look like they do.
I'm sorry I'm not a Barbie.
I'm sorry I focus on my school work.
I'm sorry for thinking of a better future for myself.
I'm sorry for not posting half naked pictures on Facebook.
For me that's all life has to be.
I've always been told if you want to succeed you have to shut up and listen. That's not who I am.
I am a fighter.
Outspoken.
Strong.
Powerful.
I refuse to stand down.
Power seeps through my veins.
I refuse to stand down.
I refuse to be told what to do.
I am the future.
I'm sorry that you don't appreciate my beauty.
I'm sorry, but you're just another obstacle in my way.
