Brave Heart

Look at you..

so innocent and shy.

so full of life,

but you bow your head

and I don't understand why?

look at your beautiful blue eyes,

your lightly freckled skin.

that curly, blonde hair.
and yes, even the scar on your shin.

that smile you flash to every stranger,

every kinda word you share.

makes every bit of a difference,

even when people seem to not care.

you would never accept things as they are,

because you believe in the magic,

of the universe,

the moon and the stars.

what a brave heart..

to feel so much pain.
and to continue choosing life,

when you know, you'll likely hurt again.

keep that chin up, love.
your depression is not above you.
your dreams & your future are.
