Don't speak to me of bravery
until you have enlisted in the military.

Believe me, there is no greater pride
Than having battle brothers at your side.

To have hesitation in your actions,
could leave you divided into fractions

and the slightest break in morale and reason
can leave even the most hearted sown with treason.

To come out alive is a goal in itself,
but much more important, return others in health.

To protect civilians, even when under fire
is only all the more reason to ignore fear or tire.

To fight without honor is no crime or flaw
but selfishly fighting might dump you in a maw.

Speak nothing of blind, unknowing fear,
Just let me know when the enemies here.
