Bravery

Music sure gave me a save,

It simply made me brave,

Let me tell you a story,

And don’t worry it won’t be gory.

Music makes a big roar,

And can make us all want more.

But can be quite calm,

Like the slow dance at prom.

I stand now at my junior prom,

Sweat is on my palm.

The girl I like is by the drinks,

Wait, did she, at me, just wink?

She’s walking over, what do I do?

Oh man I have no clue.

Keep calm and steady,

Forgot my name…wait it’s Teddy!

She’s drawing closer to me,

I think I should flee.

My heart is beating fast,

Has a minuet passed?

Well, I must say, bravery is an amazing thing

For I had asked her to dance like a king,

She said yes but Bravery I must thank,

For it made me feel as strong as a tank.

But being brave makes us all ,

Knock down that tall wall,

That holds us back from what we want,

Bravery teaches us to ignore the walls taunt.
