Braving the Unknown
The freedom of speech, the freedom of press
Basic rights that seem to be forgotten
The freedom to be whomever you wish
Yet, if you dare, you are an outcast
Brave the unknown
Take the path that is not worn
This is poetry
This is writing
Moving through the roads of life
It would seems never ending
Run in the meadows of your dreams
Creating a world all your own
Brave the unknown
Take the path that is not worn
This is poetry
This is writing
Your fantasy unfolds before your very eyes
The papers alight with the words in gold
Writing as if it is your last
The heart, the soul, the physical combine as one
Brace the unknown
Take the path that is not worn
This is poetry
This is writing
