The freedom of speech, the freedom of press Basic rights that seem to be forgotten The freedom to be whomever you wish Yet, if you dare, you are an outcast Brave the unknown Take the path that is not worn This is poetry This is writing Moving through the roads of life It would seems never ending Run in the meadows of your dreams Creating a world all your own Brave the unknown Take the path that is not worn This is poetry This is writing Your fantasy unfolds before your very eyes The papers alight with the words in gold Writing as if it is your last The heart, the soul, the physical combine as one Brace the unknown Take the path that is not worn This is poetry This is writing
