The Brazen Bull

Epic~ a long poem that tells about ancient people and gods

Crepuscular

People started to leave one by one

Time for bed..Bed and miss this?

I sat down on the bench which seemed to get lighter and lighter as more people left

Soon it was just me sitting alone watching the the fire licking at the

Dazzling yellow armor of the

Brazen Bull

I smiled as the Bull grunt loudly

I stood up walking closer to the Majesty Bull

“Every heard what goes around comes around?”

Silence

“Now I get to see karma get you back...... twice as hard”

The bull grunt loudly over and over again

Tears ran down my cheek

“Look what you got us into?”

“Excuse Me?” some one tapped on me I turned to see a young solider red eyes and face full of desperation

“Phalaris said everyone must be out in order to take the bull away” I looked at him up and down

“His screams will come to you through the pipes as the tenderest, most pathetic, most melodious of bellowings” The soldier look at me intense

“What?”

“You are so young yet you have to something so gruesome like this …... “ he looked away

“Please leave now” he said firmly looked away staring mindlessly at the flames I began to walk away but turned

“Before I go I was once told when the bull was reopened, the victim's scorched bones shone like jewels and were made into bracelets the least I can have from this”

I pointed at the Bull is

“a bracelet engraved The Brazen Bull ”he heisted before speaking

“I...i guess so” he nodded and I was on my way.
