Break

It's time, your holiday is done,

The only break now, is a break from the fun,

Sitting in that chair take your notes everyday,

Your mind is outside, wishing you didn't have to stay,

Many years left in the pen, hard labour,

You snicker in the class as you joke with your neighbor,

Teachers always pick on you, increasing the incidence,

Of lack of classroom knowledge causing embarrassment,

Either they do not like you, or it's a coincidence,

Or perhaps they're all trying to speed your development,

Whatever the cause, whatever the reason,

To be jolly, this is not the season.

Cause school's in session, for those who sell supplies it's great,

But I'm just counting down the days untill the next break.
