Break Up

(poems go here) Behind those eyes must be something that tears you inside because as I stare deep in your eyes I know there hides a lie. Each word you say sounds like a repeat. I’m sorry seems to be your best phrase but I love you is the hardest phrase you say. Your heart tears mine every time you walk by. Every time you hold me I feel the need to push away and when we kiss I feel the need to move my head. I’ve been warn but didn’t believe tell now I see. I was blinded by the words now I see disappointment. I went death by the sweet nothings you spoke but now I can hear due to the lies you love to say. To break up with your pain is a pleasure but to break up with the old you hurts. Maybe if I forget the pain I can bring back what I once knew, but that would be a greater risk of more pain drenched in my veins. You’re my peace that turned into my anger, my friend that turned into my enemy. I can’t seem to lose the love I have for you nor can’t I bury the harmful pain and threatening words you would always say. I wish I could rewind back time, but it seems that would force my heart to die inside. This is the end. This is my goodbye. Goodbye to the old and what’s become new to you.
