A Break

The sky was blue, the plants covered in dew,

and the spring made it all feel so new.

Everything in your head could melt away

with a morning in the mountains

surrounded by a foggy grey.

I listened to Seether and the Amity Affliction-

I liked songs and the pain they depicted

and it'd all be okay on those days-

up in the mountains, far far away.

I used to have an account under the name "The Frozen Arsonist" when I was a teenager and just wanted to start over, but you can check that out if you want to see earlier content
