BREAK FREE

BREAK FREE

Eyes been closed for so long now

Wishing one day, I can breakout

Breakout from the chains that bind me

Bind me to the never-ending darkness,

That seems to consume every last bit of hope

Every last bit of will, that one day

 I’ll be free

Free from the darkness that brought with it nothing but heartache

Heartache that made the wanting of love

Seem like nothing but a child’s dream

A dream that brought with it a question.

“Am  I worthy of being loved???”

But just as I was about to throw in the towel

Signifying my defeat, and the end of my story

I found it

I found hope, love, and acceptance

I found you…
