Break Me Down

Running from what will always outrun you

Chasing what you will never catch

What do you reach for when you fall?

It won't be there for you,

but you know this

Why do you reach out?

No one will save you

Dreaming what will never happen

Wishing for what will never come true

What do you wish for?

It will never be

This you know

Why do you try?

Listen-- you do not

Is that how you're here today?
