Breaking Away
Many enter college with a predisposition,
Thinking that it is our main mission
To drink and have a ball,
While grades will matter barely at all.
Some sub come to this ill willed thought,
That we must rot our brain with alcohol and pot,
While others see the light,
That the drunkards cannot.
The battle is hard and full of temptation,
But the road to success is much harder than the one to damnation.
With the help of each other,
We can bring up those who have fell
Too far to climb out of their own well.
We can lift each other to a new height,
And make it so everyone can see the light.
