Breaking the Closet Door
Banging, clawing, and yelling, in the dark
conner crying from what lies beind the closet door.
An infiltraion to the only safe haven that I have.
Tears of what could happen but a tiny voice of hope.
I get up and stand in front of the closet door.
I open it and hit with all the hatred, the light shows
the clawing marks that was made from being in the closet,
knowing I was my own enemy. Yelling from discples
talking of my stoning, however a whisper of love.
I walk out knowing what harshness awaits. All the hate
thrown at me now and not my closet door, but I still walk
proudly. Knowing I'm breaking down my closet door.
