Breaking Free

Trapped. That is what i am.

People trying to change who i am.

Control my life, and what i do.

It's a prison and I'm the prisoner.

Why can't i be my own person?

To be accepted for who i am is what i long for, but will it ever happen?

I need to be my own person.

Why can't anyone see it that way?

I'm tired of trying to meet everyone's expectations of who i should be.

I'm standing my ground and telling people how it will be.

The time is now for everyone to finally see I'm going to be me.
