Breaking Free
The greatest fear I posses
That cripples my success
Is my fear to fail
Something I have learned to prevail
With every step in a new direction
My mind takes me to a place of reflection
On who I am and what I will be
This is the moment I break free
I feel in my heart a calling
To create a world where we see hate falling
Down to its necessary demise
I plan to look hatred in its eyes
I tell it that it is not welcomed here
Its distorted language is not for our human ears
I have to be the one to put it to rest
I need to alleviate the oppressed
The fear that captivates me
Is conquered by a necessity
That I feel in every heartbeat
A dream I know I must meet
I overcome the fear of failure
By examining the purpose of my behavior
If I let this fear stop my dream
The world may never see love gleem
I believe I was given a purpose
One that is nothing but earnest
If I allow this fear to stop my journey
The lines of morality will become blurry
I have overcome my fear
By reminding myself I must adhere
To the plan written from above
The plan that allows me to teach the world love
Fear can always be beat
Once you realize he is no beast
Fear is nothing but a thought in your mind
And if you allow it, it will pass with time
Fear is necessary to build strength and conviction
Use this strength to turn the impossible into non-fiction
