Breaking Free

There were times I spent with you I never thought that we’d get through Now I’m sitting here tonight Knowing somehow I was right Guess you could say I’m a dreamer Others say they haven’t seen her But she’s not that kind of girl That lives and breathes with the world Different than I used to be Different from when you knew me Now I’m just me, only me Now I’m set free, breaking free It feels good to be alone Feeling alright on my own I don’t need you to satisfy Just need someone to hear my cry I am slipping through the cracks Shattered like a piece of glass Don’t you get it, can’t you see This is what you’ve done to me Different than I used to be Different from when you knew me Now I’m just me, only me Now I’m set free, breaking free Let me go and shut the door Not the one you’re looking for Step by step I’m running fast All things are back from my past Taking off I’m letting go Of the life that I’d once known Freefalling and I don’t care The wind blowing through my hair We are happy he and i Staring blankly at the sky There doesn’t have to be words to say Just hello how’s your day With a goodbye farewell kiss Just in case that you had missed I’ve moved on and am carefree Take one last good look at me Different than I used to be Different from when you knew me Now I’m just me, only me Now I’m set free, breaking free
