Breaking the Mirror

When I look in the mirror what do I see? I see someone who Is afraid Someone who hides the pain she goes through everyday I do not have a voice because I am afraid of what other people will say Will they hate me? I don’t know but I don’t want to find out When I look in the mirror I am looking down on myself for reasons I can’t explain How do I fix this? Breaking the mirror will allow me to have the opportunity to be the person I want to be To start over new And when I look in that mirror a second time I will do it with a smile on my face Because I will be proud of the person staring back that has the smile on her face.
