Breaking the Mold

Life creates changes

That we try to opose.

We sometimes break

And hurt and fill with woes.

How are we to achieve greatness

When we are constanly frustrated

With the world's view of us

And simply being underrated?

How are we to face the dawn

When nothing goes right?

How can we break the mold

When it fits so tight?

Simply change it.

Change the mold.

Become who you aspire to be.

Be bold.

This is my mother.

She is always going.

She is strong.

She influences by showing.

Her image is in me.

Her attitude is in my heart.

She encourages me to break the societal mold,

Even when we're apart.
