Breaking My Heart

I've forgotten

To remember

To say those words

Lost on the tip

Of my tongue

Words

You need to hear

Words

That kill me

The longer I hold them in

You make it impossible

About to crawl out of my skin

Drowning

No way to win

Nowhere to go from here

You make it so hard

There's so much fear

So much blame

You breathe heavy

Talk so easy

You break my heart

Every damn time

Every night

Is another new fight

Fresh and cut deep

You break me

Can't sleep

Can't eat

Words I should've said

Stuck in my head

On repeat

An endless loop

What I can't be

What you need from me

What will never be

You break my heart

Just like that

Don't tell me

What I already know

I don't want it

I don't need this

I can't take it anymore

Walk away

Take it all with you

When you leave

Leave me be

Leave me alone

I don't know

How to be

What you need

And I can't see

This ending well

So go ahead

Take the words

I never said

Take it all with you

Just please

Not another night

Not another fight

And please

Stop breaking my heart
