The Breakthrough
I was young, stupid, and depressed,
Had not a clue if I could fix my own mess,
I tried and I tried yet still as lost as a ballon that slips from a childs hand,
Until one night until I was saved by THE MAN,
It was on this night where I wept and cried,
Then I began to feel joy and I came alive,
For the first time in a while I felt I had a purpose,
To be a light for those who were in the dark and hurting,
Finally I am here standing before you,
Telling you that there is a way; because it is called a breakthrough
