A Breakthrough: Why I write

I was introduced to poetry by introducing myself to the real world. No one would believe the type of imagination and loss for words that came to mind. The only way to describe it was by grabbing my pen and paper and it still is. I don't just waste my energy by forming different combinations of words from 26 letters. I express feeling of things that I see when I look around. I start with the homeless man outside who has a pisces gentle touch and emotional depth to see man-kinds abyss filled with us children and people on top falling looking to man-kinds serpents eyes. Sooner or later the poor will have nothing left to eat but the rich. Angelic souls looking down wondering where have i been waiting to help, reminding us that somebody loves us but the message is going in one ear and out the other. It was said best that actions speak louder than words but that is untrue if one letter can move people more than one tragedy. I write becuse the realer I get, the realer the world gets. We don't know where to turn other than power behind the blue and green throne as we should look to the bright halo waiting and the bond of our mothers. Poetry describes eveything of when I look around into simplier words. I shed tears to the lost history and not a plant grows back from a virgins water for the green leaves are slowly depleting and loss for oxygen is increasing. White doves try to fly but continue broken winged and praying for air as the green bills, greed, and man-kinds dirt is in the way. To have a death of a child  brings earth down knowing a chance for more opportunity has been decreased by one. The flower on 5th street that has been struggling down to its roots decides to stop breathing. i look up at the sky to see that we can find a way to break free by just the simple motion of a pen only to look to my left and dark clouds are hovering. To my right are people who know why they write and march to find freedom in a corporal world. I continue to look at the light waiting for it to burst and shine on the minds of black and white. When I look around i see greed, jealously and the desire to take what is rightfully someone else's, breaking all ten commandments. Different things are happening day by day and the one way I know how to cope is by opening my notebook and getting lost in my own thoughts on paper. I pause to the children looking for the doves to change their destined future as I am one of the lambs wanting to stay protected with the shepard instead of the wolf with the pitchfork. Just one poem could set us all free on the insides and out. It's all when i look around.
