Breakup

Always and forever together, Was how we were meant to be. More than anything in the world, Was what you meant to me. I shared all my secrets freely, And all my trust I gave to you. I thought you loved me, too, But that was so not true. Laughter and tears, Hugs and kisses, we shared, But the words you said to me Showed that you never cared. I pretended to forgive you, After each and every fight. I pretended we were fine, Crying myself to sleep at night.
