A Breath of Fresh Air

Letting go, expressing myself, freeing my mind.

All of my thoughts, fears, and desires; emptied out in poetry.

A story. My story.

I don't have to worry about censorship, impressing anyone, offending anyone.

Freely sharing how I feel, how I want to feel, how I don't want to feel.

I feel safe.

I can't control much of what's going on in life, but I can control my poems.

I can mold them, type them, write them; however I want, however I feel.

Freedom of expression - a very strong freedom to possess.

Something that no one can ever, nor will ever, take from me.
