The Breath of Life
Welcome to the respiratory system! We need it to live, so our bodies can be in rhythm. It keeps you alive so you can thrive; it’s important, you cannot deny
The lungs get rid of CO2, so breathing works for me and you. The diaphragm will dance, high then low, air will come in as a steady flow. Air comes in through your nose, down the trachea it goes.
Into the bronchi and down the tube, but where it goes, that’s the scoop. Through the bronchioles it will go, to the alveoli it will flow.
The respiratory system is the best; no other system can contest. Oxygen hops in, CO₂ goes out, that’s what the respiratory system is all about!
