Breathe

So much room to move but I am stuck here

Filled with so much beauty and adventure

My life is dull, I want to disappear

I know I can do it, I’m a feather

Cool wind, natural colors, healing sun

Above it all I won’t be underneath

She gives off the vibe of life I won’t shun

This city traps, I need to break free and breathe

It won’t be easy, I don’t want to dream

I won’t be back for long, please let me go

The cherry on top of my big ice cream

I’m happy now. Did you see my photo?

I love you more. I need to catch my flight

Bright lights, big cities, I will breathe tonight
