Breathe

The tree stretches out after a long slumber Her limbs scrape the heavens The ombre blue dusted by clouds White dreams floating to where they belong Reflecting down upon a silver plate Ripples distorting the painting Yet a sudden stillness of earth Where the seemingly unending ocean kisses The rich, dark brown Roots conquer, reaching over the ground Climbing over new life and death alike Fed by the warm glow of the sun Trickling through cracks in the atmosphere A breath of God
