Breathe

Breathe, It is your only defense mechanism out of this Well at least for now When surviving doesn't seem like the easier option When effort doesn't seem to be noticed When your body is a victim to your mind And everything before it, like your life Just remember, beyond survival lies life And it awaits For all the brave souls with scars to show for the roughness of life Beyond effort lies energy And energy never lies Frequency is a language beyond our minds It is to warn us when something isn't right It is your soul telling your body to run But it never does All motions held hostage by the mind Even a blind man knows, an eye that cannot see red flags cannot survive I've spent most of my days learning to survive I've spent most of my days to breathe
