Breathe
breathe.
in...out...
in...out...
the calm rhythm of my day
undistrubed.
trigger.
sharply inhale.
remember.
"no..."
push it aside...
"focus."
force yourself to breathe
steady.
in...out...
in...out...
remember.
inhale a big breath,
wide, empty,
and nonchalant.
roll your eyes.
"that's done now...
i'm over it."
suppress the thought
and move on.
exhale slowly.
NO.
Stop.
Take that thought captive
to CHRIST.
fear.
stop breathing.
pause...hesitate...
"i know You understand my thoughts,
but if i surrender this to You,
You won't remove it from my mind.
You'll bring it out front
and make me face it,
head on."
lack of oxygen,
breathe quickly.
breathe unsteadily.
remember.
wince.
pain.
flee!
STOP.
return.
inhale shakily,
exhale slowly.
force yourself to look in His eyes.
Penetration.
Remember...surrender.
Brace yourself.
Take a seat.
Breathe deeply.
Exhale long.
Think.
Surrender.
Freedom will come.
