Breathe.

New voice New choice Designed by a Creator A key that leads to the greater Perfect gift Breathe. Our first gasp Just to grasp The simplest action of all The fragile air sacs rise and fall It is easy Breathe. Soaking tears Countless fears The constant, bothersome unknown Despair, worrying all alone Just step back Breathe. Bogged down The drown Not only life but daily stress Although a young mind, I confess We forget Breathe. The mishaps The “Oh craps” When nothing goes right and all fails Thinking “Will I ever prevail?” Do not quit Breathe. Tears, sweat, blood Stuck in mud Pursuing a glimpse of light Despite all the “Give up the fight” Never stop Breathe. It’s not fair Almost there The road is nearing its dead end No U-turns and no more to mend The last one Breathe.
