Breathe

STOP THINKING.

Just let it go.

It's alright.

Breathe.

But it doesn't feel alright when my family doesn't approve of my choices, when they think the best thing for me is to shelter me, when they jab me in the stomach with disapproving words and judgemental looks.

STOP THINKING.

It'll all work out.

Don't worry.

Breathe.

But how on Earth could I not worry? When everyone close to me has left before, how could it not make sense that my friends and boyfriend would do the same? Especially when I feel like I have to fight for their attention.

STOP THINKING.

Just let time pass.

Its fine.

Breathe.

But its not fine when I know that January 30th is two weeks away. When I know I'll spend that week broken. When I won't be able to breathe, knowing that my best friend no longer can.

STOP THINKING.

STOP THINKING.

STOP THINKING.

Breathe.

Please.
