To Breathe Again

What does it mean to breathe again to feel again to heal again It means to wake up and to see your mistakes Don’t ever let your mistakes take the place The place of your joy and the place of your smile Because of your mistakes they have been gone for awhile One step at a time in breathing again in feeling again and in healing again We are not perfect and sometimes we mess up However don’t let your mess ups be enough to continue to beat you up Instead stand up strong and fight back with all your might Because if you don’t the past will win the fight One step at a time in breathing again in feeling again in healing again I lived and had a lot of regrets But in this life your learn to regret but not forget Don’t forget your mistakes cause it shaped who you are today Thanks to your mistakes your not the same as you were yesterday I learned to cope with my past problems Because if I don’t cope how am I going to solve them One step at a time in breathing again in feeling again in healing again I won’t let my past bring me down Because if I did I would not be here now Don’t cry and cry cause your loosing yourself all the while Turn that frown upside down and put on a smile One step at a time in breathing again in feeling again in healing again To breathe again is to be me again To feel again is to be happy again To heal is to be made new again But to breathe again is the best thing to do Not to benefit the past but to benefit you

This poem was made when my past mistakes tried to alter who I am today!
