Breathe In, Count to 10

They say you feel a phantom pain when your limbs are taken from your body. They say your wings melt if you fly too near the sun. They say we were put on earth to love, create, intoxicate I say give me phantoms, driven from my pen melting wings drawn from my fingers I say love, create, intoxicate with words I say let me write.
