Breathing
I lay on the raven colored ground, hot with sun
The ebony white chalk circling my body round
Staring up into the robin blue sky I close my eyes
Pensively thinking of our ultimate demise
Hands still--heart beating
Reflecting on the meaning
Why here? Why now?
To live one’s life I wonder how
Breathing in--up and down
Life keeps moving all around
