As Breathing

Taken for granted the hum in your ears, don't be mistaken I've noticed for years. I've felt it's curves, it's breaks, it's very own life, I've heard it's joy and pain and it has witnessed my strife. Easy as breathing, able to love it like so, it is no wonder my heart tends to prosper and grow. Melodies, harmonies, or perhaps it's common name, music flows through all and ignites a wondrous  flame. You may not feel it's grasp and it's empowering glory, but if you knew my beating heart you'd see quite a different story. Without lyrics or tones how could I remain? Without goosebumps and smiles, without all that makes me sane? I wouldn't know love in the way I know it now, living my life - can you imagine how? Music is passion, joy, even sorrow and grief, it devours my soul and to my heart is a theif.
