Breathing

My heart no longer mourns for your love,

because of what I've heard above.

I used to miss the rush,

of your skin upon mine,

but I know that further in time,

I will find, I am fine.

My soul used to weep and cry,

almost as if I could die,

but I searched and soon found,

what was hiding inside.

My spirit was shot,

and put down for all to see,

but now it's been lifted,

and I can breathe.

See me...watch me as I go.

I have reached my happy place...
