Breathing Roses

We sit on a park bench
Breathing deeply
He gives me a rose
We stare into each other’s eyes
Breathing roses
Feeling full of wonder and love
Embracing
Touching
Kissing
Holding
Loving
Breathing roses together
As I look into his eyes
We kiss and when we part
Our silhouettes bow towards each other
The smell of roses lingers on my lips.
