Breathtaking Masterpiece

My body is my canvas and the palette is misery,

it paints the pain so i cant stand what it does to me.

it stencils out and pin pointsdown a hole in my heart,

and sews with rage of thread drenched pain,

so that we will never be apart.

the vandalizing on my body is so real,

so why should i try to mask the way i feel?

so skillfully i cut the beauty marks on my flesh,

i heave in and out when the knife goes down,

and marks up my chest.

the pain will never be forgotten because this will always be apart of me,

water simply can't wash the pain away because it is engraved permanently.

a true work of art is what's becoming of me,

with a few snips and cuts and more pain painted in my blood,

i will becoming a breathtaking masterpiece.
