Brick by Brick

Brick by brick

They pave a road

So people have

Somewhere to go

Brick by brick

They build a house

So big, bad wolves

Can’t mess about.

Brick by brick.

Up comes a city

So people can sit and work

And make money.

Brick by brick

They build a wall.

All the king’s men go

To watch the egg fall.

Brick by brick,

Each made of clay.

We stop and count

What we built today.
